Batu Ferringhi.

Batu Ferringhi has a several large resort, like Rasa Sayang, Golden Sands, Park Royal,Holiday Inn, Bayview etc. It look like a new village, but it's very old. It used to be a kampong with a little fishing village. If you want to see a part of this old village yuo have to turn right when you have passed The Park Royal.
Here you'll find the backpackers guesthouses of Ah Beng, Baba's and the best place, Ali's, which has a relaxing open-air-cafe and garden, and better room with the other ones.

Penang National Park

Telok Bahang is the entrance for the Penang National Park. Previously it was known as the Pantai Aceh Forest Reserve. First you have to register and then you can go into the jungle to visit beautiful beaches. like Monkey Beach or Pantai Kerachut.
The park is unique as it contains several different types of habitat including a meromictic lake (a lake in which some water remains partly or wholly unmixed with the main water mass at circulation periods ), wetlands, mangroves, mudflats, coral reefs and turtle nesting beaches.
The dusky leaf monkeys and the long tailed macaque can also be seen. Birds are aplenty, noticeable big birds like White Bellied Sea Eargles and Brahminy Kites and Kingfisher occationally can be seen here.
Mammals such as wild boars. wild cats, civet cats, sea otters, mousedeer, rats, bats and squirrels and crabs, fishes and large prawns, monitor lizards and snakes are common here.

Telok Bahang

Telok Bahang is a friendly fishing villlage in the north western tip of the island Penang. The name
Telok Bahang means the "Bay of Heat Wave",probably pointing to the high temperature of the sea breeze coming in to the shore. It's 5 kilometres distance from a touristy place of Batu Ferringhi.Telok bahang used to be famous for his fish restaurant " The End of THe world," but the restaurant was destroyed by the Tsunami.

The sea off Telok Bahang is not suitable for swimming, due of the presence of jellyfish on account of the sewage dischargeed by the establishments and habitations along the coast.

120 Armenian Street is a shophouse build in the 1870's that has witnessed surprising events that shape world history. While it may appear stark compareed to the ornate architecture of the clan temples down the street, it is a house that is worth documenting. While it looks like a typical George Town shophouse, the things that happened in it is anything but typical.(Let's visit the house for more..........)
