Penang Hill Railway Station


Up the hill. Sid and Pamela ready to take off the train.This picture was taken at Penang Hill Railway Station on wed.April 2009.They were here before,but this time Pamela going to take more picture when they reaches up hill,because you can see a very clear view of Penang Island and also the mainland of Malaysia,and you could see also Penang Bridge that connected to the mainland,This is a very important hill to British army during the war with Japannese .If they can sent me a picture taken from them i would like to publish in this web site.

Sid and Pamela From London with Love


Mr and Mrs Sidney having a nice time at Eastern and Oriental Hotel ( Est. 1885) while in GeorgeTown,Penang.They were facinated with the hotel structure,they also having Afternoon English Tea at the hotel, and comment it was lovely Hi-Tea.
Actually i recomment them the Hi-Tea at the E & O Hotel ,after Mrs Ron told me that the Hi-Tea there was excellent.This lovely couple are from London they live about 1KM from the big city of London.This is their second time in Penang,after their last visited is 10 years ago.Welcome Back to Sid and Pam.Oh yeah! they come back celebrating their 25th Wedding Aniversary.Congratulation from me.They also had a beautiful dinner at Feringghi Grill at the Rasa Sayang Resort and Spa in Batu Feringghi,Penang, where they spent a week holiday at the hotel.

Malaysian Satay Recipe Specially for Mrs Ron (Gillian)



Malaysian Satay(Sate Malaysia)
Ingredients:
600gm boneless chicken or beef
4 nos. lemon grass
2 1/2 cm fresh tumeric or 2 t-spoon tumeric powder
2 nos. big onion
2 t-spoon salt
4 spoon sugar
1 spoon cooking oil
1 spoon black soya sauce
30 nos bamboo stick

Method:
blend lemon grass,tumeric and onion.Cut meat between 1 1/2 cm-2 1/2 cm
mix the meat with the blended ingredient,add sugar,blk. soya sauce and oil.marinated for 2 hours. Arranged on bamboo stick.best bar-b-q on charcoal.

Gravy:Satay sauce
180gm ground peanut(stir fried without oil and medium crush)
2 t-spoon tamarind
5 t-spoon sugar
3 spoon cooking oil

Grind ingredient (A)
15 nos dried chilly
2 nos garlic
12 red onion(small onion)
3 stick lemon grass
1 t-spoon coriander powder or fresh leave
2 t-spoon fennel seed
1 1/2 cm belacan(shrimp paste) this is mrs ron favourite
1 cup water(last step)

Method:
Grind all ing. (A)
hot the pan with oil add ingredient (A),stir fried until fragrant,add 1 cup water,add crush peanut, slow the fire,add tamarind juice,sugar and salt.
cooked for 5-10 min. until the sauce a little thick.
serve with fresh cucumber and fresh onion.

Mr & Mrs Ron From England With son Andrew




Mr. and Mrs Ron and son Andrew posing infront of the Penang High Court Building after having a dinner at Thai Restaurant opposite the building (pic Below ) and went for a visit at Eastern and Oriental Hotel in GeorgeTown,and they were falling in love with the Hotel infrastruture that was being build in 1883. To show their love for the hotel they booked a High Tea at the Hotel on Monday at 2.30pm.
Mr Ron was a very good in story teller and explaination in many things,yesterday they went to Carrfoure with my red sentra,we pass the Penang Bridge because it situated at the main land ,so far they were happy with my service and i were very happy with them,they will leave penang on Wednesday morning. Mr Mohammad Kahil and Family in Penang.

Salam from Penang.Mr and Mrs. Kahil with daughter Grace and son Omar just came back from Penang Hill after more than ten hours trips, still feeling fresh and happy,they also visited Tropical Spices Garden,Batik factory,Penang Butterfly farm and Penang Tropical Fruit farm.
What i can say is, this is the best family i ever taken for a tour,a very happy family from Lebanon now living in Kuwait. And this is a second time they were here, and it seem they will come back again.And i'm ready with my red sentra cab to take them again.

After..almost..a..week..in..Penang..at..Rasa..Sayang..Beach..Resort..and..spa..I..sent..them..at..Penang..International..Airport.
They..enjoyed..their..their..stay..while..in..Penang,..they..also..visited..Tropical..spice..garden..and..Penang..National..Park..this..is..the..smallest..national..park..in..the..world.
They..are..very..good..couple..Mr..Eric..from..Germany..and..Heather..from..scotland
